with birds singing, horses munching grass, dogs sleeping in the sun- makes me a happy person. Hope everyone gets a chance

I have been asked many times "Why Blind Eye"
?
What I do is about
more than just a picture ;more than just what you can see. It's about a view through the heart. A look beyond what your eyes can tell you.

Hmmmm... who is that chic riding the Black mare?
Appreciate the "good old horses" in your life.
They are worth their weight in Equine Senior, MSM and then some : )

"Taz" is only 6 months old and was full of kisses and joy today during a portrait session with the two silver

Well, here is our finished saw dust bin. It has been through wind storms, rain storms & falling
leaves and is holding up perfectly so far! We'll see how it makes it through snowfall this winter. It is so nice
to be able to just walk in and shovel out clean DRY bedding for the stalls. It is also easy to take apart and put back
together... love that PVC pipe!

How can one little pooch be so adorable?! This little girl's name is Bridgette and when she came in
for her portrait session I was just delighted to have her in front of my camera. It was like having a living,
breathing stuffed animal in my studio. And would'nt you guess...she is as sweet as she is cute.

Oh what beautiful colors this fall. I seem not to notice them when I'm busy taking care of horses
and dogs in the morning, but I do admire the bright, turning leaves in the morning on my way to the studio.
Funny, I have to make myself take notice this season for what it is. It's not just a pretty
backdrop for portraits. The leaves and clouds are not just a filter for 5:00 'ish sun. Fall smells good,
like the earth. It offers sounds of peacefulness as dried leaves brush against the grass and
blow across the gravel next to the barn. I came far too close to seeing only with my eyes and almost missed the entirety
of a magnificantly ending season.
Hey 'yall, go out and watch the leaves fall : )

Chilly weather ... not a problem for my most recent outdoor High School Sr. portrait sessions.
Add a little Nikon magic with a view through a Blind Eye and viola!
Ahhhh, warmth on chilly October days.

Another lovely day at the Camargo Hunter Trials... one of our favorite shows! The mood at this
show is always so wonderful and we just love shooting in the big field with all the fall colors. Plus...the
tailgate food is a real bonus every year (yummy!).

Little known funny fact:
It only takes 2.5 hours to get to Circle G Arena from Sardinia, Ohio BUT it takes 6 hours to get back.
Well... that's if you miss an exit and come back via. Chillicothe : )

I'm thinking about creating a small collection of my Art Prints for customers to enjoy. Here
is one called "Twisted Wire Snaffle". Emails are welcome to let me know who may be interested in getting updates when
a new print is available. They will be printed as note cards, post cards and limited edition framed wall prints.

picture was appropriate. I found this scene at

So... what does a Horse Show photographer
do when sales are slow? Work on marketing
and ad design- ha! Those who remember the
Hee-Haw show will get a chuckle out of this one.

Here's my sign : )
This will be the new sign that hangs in front of my studio. Simple and to the point. And now
for a little family promotion time...... The sign will be made by Needra's Sign Shop, West Union Ohio (937) 544-2104.
Needra's Sign Shop is owned by my sister-in law, Needra Fischer. There is a link to her shop from my links page... check
it out!
I thought about dropping the "Blind Eye Photography" and going with "Suzanne Fischer Photography", but this
would mean starting all over with business name recognition, business cards, flyers, web site, etc. So..... If you know
me by "Blind Eye" or by "Suzanne Fischer", still just one in the same.

..............................
This lovely portrait of me with my mare Belle was created by my husband, Bruce Thomas.
You may have met Bruce at one of the many horse shows he volunteers to help with, or perhaps you met him
during your portrait session. Bruce helps out at many of the "Blind Eye" events as my second or third camera,
prop man and even as sales help.
